In development · early access for planners

Stop guessing what your hotel room block will cost.

BlockStay is an early-stage tool to help wedding planners and hosts track hotel room blocks, cutoff dates and potential attrition exposure. We're also prototyping a marketplace for rooms guests don't book.

Free, no account needed. The demo uses sample data.

How attrition works

Your block has a minimum. We help you hit it.

Many hotel contracts require a share of the block — commonly around 80% — to be booked by the cutoff date, and rooms short of that minimum may be billed at the contracted rate. Exact terms vary by hotel and contract. In the BlockStay concept, rooms rebooked through the marketplace would count toward pickup — whether they actually do depends on your hotel agreement.

  • Estimate your exposure from the terms you enter, updated as pickup changes.
  • Choose which rooms to release — nothing is listed without your say.
  • Price released rooms below public rates, so they're more likely to be booked.
